Somnathpur

Somnathpur is a small village located in Mandya district of southern Karnataka near the Karnataka-Kerala border. The village is situated on the banks of river Cauvery and is about 30 kms from Srirangapatna town.

Somnathpur is named after its founder Somnath, the chief commander of the Hoysala army.
